ST. PETERS, Mo. (AP) - Relatives of a missing St. Charles County teenager are asking the public to help find her.
Authorities say 16-year-old Molly Linhardt of St. Peters may be with 27-year-old Benjamin Kinkade. Kinkade is a registered sex offender. The two previously worked together at a restaurant. Linhardt has been missing since Monday night.
Police say they have no clues in the disappearance.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Linhardt's grandmother and sister met with reporters Wednesday, asking for help in locating the teen. Authorities believe she may be with Kinkade, a Wright City man convicted of statutory rape for having sex with a 12-year-old girl when he was 17 in 2002.
