FLORISSANT, Mo. (AP) - Three women and two students are accused of assaulting a freshman at McCluer North High School in the St. Louis County town of Florissant.
KMOV-TV (http://bit.ly/Xn6juj ) reports that the women were at the school to take a female student, a relative of theirs, to lunch. School officials say the women did not appear suspicious.
Security footage shows the women walking toward their relative as she got into a fight with another freshman. Police say the adults then joined in the fight, as did another student. All told, police say five people were attacking the other student.
School officials broke up the fight.
All five of the alleged attackers are facing charges of assault and property damage. The adults are also charged with trespassing.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
