JOPLIN, Mo. - Nearly eight months after the Joplin tornado destroyed it, the Home Depot store is reopening at its same location.

Wednesday night, hundreds gathered in Joplin for a dedication ceremony to celebrate the re-opening of the store.

The Home Depot foundation presented a $500,000 dollar donation to go to the Joplin Recovery Fund.

Store associates will also dedicate a memorial to customers and workers who lost their lives during the May 22 tornado.
