JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Republican Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder is discouraging Missouri residents from signing up for health insurance under a new online marketplace. People can begin enrolling Oct. 1 in several options offered by a federally run health insurance exchange.
The online shopping site is a key part of the 2010 federal health care law signed by Democratic President Barack Obama and long fought by Kinder.
