BULL SHOALS, Ark. - Authorities are looking for a man from the Ozarks with Johnson County, Kan., connections after he disappeared at a lake on the Missouri-Arkansas state line.
Brendon James, 44, was reported missing from Bull Shoals Lake early Tuesday morning by his father when he didn’t return from a fishing trip.
James lives in Theodosia, Mo., but also has a residence in Lenexa, Kan., a family friend told 41 Action News.
Marine Operation Troopers wsith the Missouri State Highway Patrol searched for James. His boat was found on the Arkansas side of the lake less than an hour into their search Tuesday morning, but there has been no sign of James.
Several Arkansas agencies picked up the search Wednesday, including the local sheriff’s office in Marion County and the state’s Game and Fish Commission.
