JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - A southeastern Missouri man has sued after being told by a license office that it would make digital copies of documents needed for a permit to carry a concealed weapon.
Stoddard County Prosecutor Russell Oliver is acting as the personal attorney for Eric Griffin. He says Griffin should not have to provide the documents for scanning.
A trial judge issued a temporary restraining order over the practice Monday and scheduled a hearing March 12.
