KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A family killed in a plane crash after leaving the Royals game was laid to rest this weekend.
John Lambert and his three children, Grayson, McKinley and Joshua, died after their plane crashed in a field near the airport in Springfield, Mo., Sept.16.
Robin Melton, a family friend, was also killed in the crash.

For nearly two hours, friends and family paid tribute and celebrated their lives.
Dozens of photos lined the hallways of the church showing the family on vacation and playing sports.

A preliminary report by the National Transportation Safety Board said Lambert did not radio for help before the crash.
The report also said visibility was poor due to cloudy conditions.
