PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Portland, Ore., police say a man wanted on charges from a fiery traffic crash in 2006 has been arrested in Missouri.
The police say 30-year-old Douglas Eugene Price is accused of vehicular assault as the driver of a speeding car that crashed into a taxicab.
Price's car caught fire, burning four people. The 53-year-old cab driver suffered severe injuries.
The next year, police said, a judge issued a warrant for Price's arrest, but Price and his wife, Andrea, fled
Police say an anonymous tip this year pointed to Missouri. They say authorities found that Andrea Price's mother had a coffee shop in Nevada, Andrea Price was working at Walmart, and Price was using the name "Josh Gibson."
Price was arrested Saturday and held for extradition. The women face Missouri charges.
