Searchers in the hunt for Hellen Cook reported finding some personal items in a search on Thursday. She suffers from Alzheimer's and has been missing since July 13.
Cook's daughter said around 12:30 p.m., they found shoes, a scarf and a red Chiefs hat on a path she walked daily.
The neighbor who last saw her said she was wearing a red hat.
Her husband says the shoes were definitely Hellen's. While he's glad searchers found the clues, he is also worried.
"You wonder about the obvious," he said. "Is she in that pond out there?"
The search for Cook will resumed Friday at 9 a.m. through Saturday.
On Saturday, her daughter said five divers spent the morning searching the pond where her belongings were found, but to no avail.
