Propane tanker overturns near Holt, gas leaking and neighbors evacuated

HOLT, Mo. - A propane tanker overturned at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday on Highway MM near Holt, Mo., causing home evacuations.
Authorities evacuated 10 houses east and west of the leak, which was on Hwy MM west of Cameron Road.
Clay County authorities said about 50 gallons of propane leaked after the crash. The driver has minor injuries.
The road will be blocked at least through Wednesday morning.
Propane was leaking out of the tanker, and Hazmat teams were on the scene around 11 a.m. Wednesday.
