KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Authorities recovered the body of a second drowning victim in Truman Lake Friday night.
The Highway Patrol's Water Patrol Division recovered the body of Zachary Reno, of Wheatland, Mo., after two days of searching.
They recovered the body of Michael Bryan, Reno’s father-in-law, Thursday afternoon.
The two men disappeared in the west-central Missouri lake during a fishing trip early Thursday morning.
Officials spent much of Thursday and Friday looking for Reno using a highway patrol airplane to search in the Berry Bend campground area, about nine miles southwest of Warsaw.
Reno’s body was located at the 21 mile marker of the Osage arm of Truman Lake, according to police.
