JOHNSON COUNTY, Mo. - A man and woman were killed early Sunday morning in a hit and run crash in rural Johnson County, Mo.
The incident happened on eastbound 50 Highway, just east of County Road NW 375, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Four people were traveling in Mercury when a vehicle hit the back of the car, flipping it into a tree on the side of the road.
The driver of the Mercury, 53-year-old Ronald Harvey of Green Ridge, Mo., and passenger Vickie Brandkamp, 54, of Green Ridge, Mo., were killed.
Two other passengers, Kelly Neth and Keith Roth, both 47 and from Green Ridge, Mo., suffered serious injuries.
There is no information on the vehicle that allegedly caused the crash.
