WELLINGTON, Mo. - Residents in a small town about 40 minutes east of Kansas City are being advised to boil their water.

City officials issued the boil advisory Friday afternoon for residents living south of Highway 224 and west of Highway 131.

Residents need to boil their water for three minutes prior to any use.
