MARSHALL, Mo. - Police arrest suspect in murder of Marshall, Mo., woman.
Police and paramedics found 32-year-old Rebecca Fisher on the front porch of her house about 9:50 p.m., Wednesday according to a Marshall, Mo., news release.
Fisher was taken to a hospital where she died a short time later.
Missouri Highway Patrol troopers took Terry Thompson, 45, into custody Thursday night near Clarksville, Mo. Police had identified Thompson as a suspect in the murder Wednesday night.
Thompson was being detained in the Saline County, Mo. Jail on an investigative hold.
