KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Two people in critical condition were taken to the Truman Medical Center emergency room after reports of a car flipped over at 13th and Bennington in Northeast Kansas City, Mo.
One person suffered life-threatening injuries and one man has been pronounced dead by KCMO police.
Police say the man who died was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from his vehicle. The man driving ran a stop sign at a fast rate of speed and then ran into another vehicle. Police say he was also driving with a suspended license.
Both the driver and passenger in the second vehicle are expected to be okay.
Bennington is closed from 12th to 14th Street as of right now.
