SEATTLE (CNN) - Amanda Knox plans to stay home in Seattle while she’s retried for murder in Italy.
A family spokesman said there’s no requirement making Knox attend the retrial over the 2007 death of her British roommate.
But, it is possible that Italy could request the U.S. to extradite her.
Knox and her former boyfriend were convicted of murder in 2009. That conviction was overturned two years ago for “lack of evidence.”
