Bosnian police think they have found a girl shown in a video throwing puppies into a river.
The video went viral online, and even before her identity was known the girl was getting death threats .
Animal rights groups offered rewards for information that would help identify and prosecute her.
Canadian Press reports the girl is a juvenile and police found her after they got leads from animal protection groups in Bosnia.
“The girl's parents will soon be questioned, police said. Under recently adopted animal protection law, people can be fined up to $6,400 for cruel treatment of animals,” according to Canadian Press.
