KANSAS CITY, Mo. - If you don’t have a ticket to the 83rd Annual MLB All-Star Game at Kauffman Stadium, there’s another option for fans.

Kansas City will host five Community Watch Parties at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10. The Mayor’s office and the city will host the parties that will be free to the public.

The watch parties will take place at 18th & Vine, Crown Center, Guadalupe Center, Kansas City Zoo and Zona Rosa. The parties will feature food and entertainment.

“The beauty of what the city has done is given a little bit more ownership in that neighborhood to participate,” Kansas City Host Committee Manager Keli O’Neill Wenzel said. “So it could become very large in some, and it could be just that grassroots let’s bring a picnic and watch the game.”

It’s been 39 years since Kansas City has hosted an MLB All-Star game.
