KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City woman is one of 52 fans vying to spend this summer in New York City watching nothing but baseball.
Angalena Scavuzzo, a 22-year-old media and event coordinator, has made the cut as a finalist to be one of nine individuals in the 2013 MLB Fan Cave.
“Cave Dwellers” will spend the 2013 baseball season in the Fan Cave, in the heart of New York City’s Greenwich Village. They’ll watch as many games as they can during the season, while also attending and hosting fan events, concerts, MLB player and celebrity appearances.
Each dweller will share their experiences through the summer through videos, blogs and social media.
They’ll be competing against each other throughout the year in a series of challenges and fans will get to vote for a winner, who will be announced at the end of the season.
Using fan voting on MLBFanCave.com, the list of 52 finalists will be dwindled to 30 who will attend spring training.
