KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The homecoming is over for Tommy Hottovy. The Royals traded the left-handed reliever to the Rangers for a player to be named and cash. The team had designated him for assignment on November 2.
The Park Hill South graduate joined his hometown team last November as a minor-league free agent. He posted a 2.89 ERA over nine appearances with the big league club.
