Chalk Talk: The Chiefs win wasn't pretty, but style points don't matter

Hallelujah. Boy, it’s been a long time coming.

From the way the head coach was dressed to the heated exchange between him and his quarterback, there was nothing pretty about the Chiefs 22-17 win over the Vikings. But in this league, style points don't matter.

It took a record-tying five field goals to hold off the winless Minnesota Vikings this afternoon.

This victory took a lot of pressure off a lot of people, including the head coach.

To add a little intrigue to the victory, Todd Haley, who went back to his dirty hat and unshaven look, got into a shouting match with his quarterback.
