2013 NCAA tournament TV schedule and broadcast information: 1st & 2nd rounds

The times and television information for the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament have been announced.

Action gets underway Tuesday and Wednesday in Dayton, Ohio. Games move to regional sites for the second and third rounds starting Thursday, with 16 games on the schedule Thursday and Friday.

Wichita State is the first regional team to tip off. The No. 9 seed in the West, the Shockers will face No. 8 Pittsburgh at 12:40 p.m. Thursday from Salt Lake City, Utah on TBS.

Saint Louis gets underway about a half hour later in San Jose, Calif., in the Midwest bracket. The  No. 4 Billikens will take on No. 13 New Mexico State at 1:10 p.m.

Missouri, the No. 9 team in the Midwest, will battle No. 8 Colorado State at about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday from Lexington, Ky., on TBS.

Kansas and Kansas State, both playing second and third-round games in Kansas City, both play Friday.

The Wildcats are in the early session, tipping off with the winner of the La Salle – Boise State game at about 2:10 p.m. in the early session.

The Jayhawks, the top seed in the South, get the late session Friday at Sprint Center and will face against No. 16 Western Kentucky at 8:50 p.m.
