Texas comes off a 70-57 victory Wednesday night in the first round of the Big 12 tournament in Kansas City.

Texas improves to 22-16 in its 17th appearance in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship, including a 14-11 mark in games played in Kansas City, Mo. The Longhorns are 16-4 in the First and Quarterfinal rounds of the Championship.
