The Kansas Jayhawks have moved up to No. 2 in this week’s Associated Press college basketball poll.
The Jayhawks (18-1) received 13 first-place votes and finished just 39 points behind top-ranked Michigan, who earned all but one of the rest of the first-place votes.
Fourth-ranked Florida got the other first-place vote.
Third-ranked Indiana and Duke, who dropped to No. 5 from the No. 1 spot after a loss last week, round out the Top 5.
Kansas State, who lost both of its games last week, dropped from No. 11 to No. 18, a spot behind Missouri, who moved up five spots to No. 17.
Wichita State also moved up five spots, coming in this week at No. 15 in the country.
