Mizzou lands nationally ranked recruiting class

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou's latest football recruiting class is not the biggest. They only snagged 19 players. Still, Gary Pinkel made up for the lack of quantity with a wealth of quality.

 “We do have a lot to offer here, and the first thing is that they will get their degree. Our success on the field also speaks for itself, and is always an important selling point. We feel like this is a really well-rounded class that meets our needs everywhere, and they’re also a bunch of high-character guys who will represent Mizzou the right way."

Two in-state recruits highlight the class. Dorial Green-Beckham, ranked by some outlets as the top recruit in the country, announced Wednesday morning he had picked Mizzou over Arkansas. The receiver from Springfield will join Evan Boehm in Columbia. Boehm, a Lee's Summit West product, is one of the top guards in the country.
