DETROIT - The Detroit Pistons released former University of Missouri guard Kim English on Thursday.
Detroit selected English in the second round of the 2012 NBA draft. English then signed a two-year deal with the team. The second year of that deal was not guaranteed.
In his one year with the team, English played in 41 games and averaged just under three points per game.
He now becomes an unrestricted free agent.
