PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Fan excitement has been building all week in anticipation of Thursday night’s match up.
Despite Chiefs fans being in the territory of the competition, they were welcomed with open arms. It is, of course, the City of Brotherly Love.
One hot stop is Chickie’s and Pete’s Crab House and Sports Bar. The bar itself cascades nearly from the floor to the ceiling.
On game day, there are nearly a thousand people inside watching the game on more than two dozen big screen TVs.
On the menu --- crab fries. The main reason the manager at one of their 14 locations says ESPN has voted it the number one sports bar three times.
“I really think it's the atmosphere and what it brings and the Philadelphia people themselves,” the manager tells 41 Action News. “Philadelphia people really have a terrible reputation but they are really warm hearted people and fun people."
Managers also shared a chair that they still have at the bar that Coach Andy Reid used to sit in every week for a sports show he filmed there.
For the most part, Eagles fans say they are glad he’s now wearing red.
