KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Chiefs announced some additional coaching moves, including the hiring of a former Pro Bowl cornerback.

Al Harris is joining the organization as a defensive assistant. He played 15 years in the NFL and reached two Pro Bowls. Harris played for Chiefs head coach Andy Reid in Philadelphia. Harris spent the 2012 season as a coaching intern with the Dolphins.

The Chiefs also hired Mark DeLeone as a quality control coach. He held the same position with the Jets last season.

The team has also retained Brent Salazar as the assistant strength and conditioning coach. Salazar has been with the Chiefs since 2007.
