KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Dwayne Bowe's season is over. The Chiefs placed their star receiver on the injured reserve and elevated offensive lineman Rich Ranglin from the practice squad.
Bowe injured his ribs while blocking in Cleveland. He led Kansas City with 59 catches for 801 yards and three touchdowns over 13 games this season. Bowe is scheduled to become a free agent after the season.
Ranglin signed with the Chiefs this season. He has bounced between the club's practice squad and active roster.
