The Kansas City Chiefs start training camp Monday, with rookies and quarterbacks reporting to Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.
But camp officially kicks off for the public Friday with a 3:30 p.m. practice. After practice, the players will be available for a full-team autograph session. While training camp practices are free of charge, Missouri Western will charge a $5 admission for the autograph session.
Missouri Western is charging a $5 parking fee per vehicle per day.
“American Family” Fun Day will be Saturday, Aug. 3. It is free to the public and the entire team will be available again to sign autographs after practice.
All outdoor training camp practices are open to the public. If a practice is moved indoors because of weather, it will be closed. Walkthrough practices are also closed.
The team’s final practice is Aug. 14 at 8:15 a.m.
The team’s first preseason game is Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. in New Orleans. The Chiefs will host the San Francisco 49ers on Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. Then the Chiefs are back on the road Aug. 24 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The team finishes its preseason schedule Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. at Arrowhead against the Green Bay Packers.
