KANSAS CITY, Mo. - New Chiefs head coach Andy Reid signed autographs for fans when he landed in Kansas City on Friday afternoon.
Though the team hadn't confirmed the hire when Reid arrived, seeing the former Philadelphia Eagles coach walk into the administrative offices at Arrowhead Stadium with owner Clark Hunt was all the proof some fans needed.
The Chiefs made the official announcement Friday evening.

Chiefs fan Don Schumann said Hunt did a great job hiring Reid.
"I think he's going to be a lot more personable than some of them have been. It's like he's going to bring a new attitude to this team," he explained. "We just saw it with a two and 14 (season). We've got to do something, and this is the first step."
"His history and records are phenomenal," he added. "Right now, there's no other head coach possibility out there that's better for Kansas City."
