Rumors, rumors, rumors, and we hear them every day.
It's always a challenge to sort through and see if there's a way of validating - fact or fiction.
Here's a good one that really gets me juiced up.
The word going around in financial circles is that David Glass could be selling the Royals before the All-Star game comes here in two years.
Glass figures he has a couple of years to get rid of most of the high priced talent and make this team attractive to potential buyers.
And with the renovated stadium, the Glass family would hope to get up to $350 million for the franchise.
Remember, Glass stole it for $97 million in 2000.
This whole thing makes sense.
Look, there are times, we don't want to see these rumors materialize and just ignore them but this is not, one of them.
Kansas City would be so much better off if Glass sells the team. That is the only chance we have of returning winning baseball to this town.
