KANSAS CITY, Mo. - So, here we are at the all-star break.
Nothing has changed for the Royals.
I'm already cussing David Glass for ruining another summer of baseball in our town.
Royals are toast. They're done.
The sad part is there's very little hope.
Gordon, Butler, Hosmer, Moose and Salvador Perez are all nice players but let’s be honest---they're not future super stars.
The guy everybody seems to be fawning over now is Yordano Ventura, the right-handed pitcher from the Dominican Republic.
The local paper is pimping Ventura as "a top of the rotation, starting pitcher and appointment television, for Kansas City fans."
I don't know about you, but it seems like we're always talking about the future with this baseball team.
This just in: there is no future as long as David Glass is running the operation.
The Royals promotion department must have seen this coming.
Their next big promotion is another a bobble-head night, but no players this time.
They're going with those characters you know as the hot dog, derby runners.
Yep, ketchup, mustard and relish. You're favorite condiments in bobble-head form.
That's how bad it’s become under this owner.
It’s sad when you can't promote your own players. It’s pathetic.
That’s Jack’s Smack.
