LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. - This week's Hy-Vee Athlete of the Week could be the next Bubba Starling of the Kansas City area.
Junior wide receiver Monte Harrison helped Lee's Summit West win last Friday night against Park Hill South.
He scored three different ways: punt return, touchdown catch and he ran the ball in on a wildcat formation.
"When I'm at wide receiver, I control the game better. All I have to do is get the quarterback to throw it to you, and I think I can make plays from there," Harrison said.
Harrison also plays three different sports -- football, basketball and baseball.
"He reminds me of Bubba Starling out of Gardner-Edgerton. He is so gifted in all three sports," head coach Royce Boehm said.
Harrison is hoping to play either football or baseball in college.
ESPN says KU, Mizzou, Oklahoma and Illinois are all recruiting him.
His brother Shaq, was also Danny Manning's first basketball recruit at Tulsa.
