LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Olympic games are less than two weeks away, and for Diamond Dixon, the pressure is mounting.
Tuesday night, we caught up with the KU sophomore while working out at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, Kan. Watch our interview in the player above.
She is fresh from setting a school record -- and lifetime best -- in the 400-meter at the track and field Olympic trials in Eugene, Ore.
Dixon rounded the track in 50.88 and was the only collegian runner in the finals.
She will continue her journey for Olympic gold in London, as part of the 4x400-meter relay team.
