KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The MLS All-Star game will take place Wednesday in Kansas City, and is expected to draw 20,000 fans and bring in between $15-20 million to Kansas City, Kan., and surrounding areas.
The team is also rolling out a brand new menu for the game, including lobster and Champagne served in the stands.
Lobster tails, beef carpaccio, oyster Rockefeller and Champagne will be carried down the aisles in the stands as an in-seat service by food vendors wearing tuxedos.
The stadium will also showcase a Flamin' Hot Cheetos chicken sandwich, fried mac and cheese, smoked tequila blackberry beef brisket, buffalo chicken pizza and Sporting blue cheese bacon.
The game itself will draw soccer fans from around the country. The best soccer players nationwide will play on Sporting Park's field vs. players from Series A Club AS Roma.
The Power & Light District and Legends Shopping Center will host several free concerts, watch parties and family events from Saturday to Wednesday.
