KANSAS CITY, Mo. - With the MLS All-Star Game days away, Sporting KC executives say it's showing off why Kansas City should be home of the U.S. national team.
This afternoon, Sporting KC President Rob Heineman says this week’s events solidify Kansas City as the soccer capital of the country.
He thinks the U.S. national team should call Kansas City home.
"It just comes down to if they want to play in the best stadium in the country and have the best training facility in the country, then they are going to need to come here to get both of those," Heineman said, “I'm always going to be biased towards what we have here, We have the greatest fans, we have the greatest stadium and we are working on building the greatest training facility, So, i think that's a pretty good combination.”
The All-Star Game is Wednesday night at Sporting Park.
