All Westbound lanes of I-435 near Metcalf closed temporarily after wreck

OVERLAND PARK, Kansas - Snowy roads lead to several fender-benders across the metro Saturday morning, including one in the westbound lanes of I-435, near Metcalf in Overland Park, Kan. The multiple vehicle accident just after 7:00 A.M. shut down all the lanes of westbound 435 for about 30 minutes. Lanes began to re-open around 7:40.
Some other traffic delays this morning include:
- Drivers must be prepared to stop after a multiple vehicle at 71 Highway Southbound AT I-670 in Kansas City. Crews expect to have this cleaned up by 8:49 A.M.
- The left lane of I-470 Westbound past View High Drive in Lee's Summit is closed until 8:44 A.M. after an accident there.
Only minor injuries were reported in these crashes.
