KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The southbound lanes of 169 Highway in the Northland re-opened Monday morning after a fire in a law enforcement vehicle caused the highway to shut down..
The fire was reported around 7:45 a.m. in the southbound lanes just south of 9 Highway in Kansas City, Mo.
The driver was able to get out of the vehicle, police said, though it wasn’t immediately clear what agency the car belonged to.
