KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Kansas City, Kan., has been identified.
The crash happened around 3:50 a.m. Friday on the exit ramp from westbound Interstate 70 to Washington Street.
Police say the driver, 30-year-old Travis Tankersley, was getting off on the ramp when he hit the wall and was thrown from the motorcycle off of a bridge. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved, according to police.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
