INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - Spots of black ice are causing problems on Interstate 70 near Independence Center.
Several accidents were reported Thursday morning in the westbound lanes of the interstate just past Interstate 470/291.
Skytracker video from over the scene showed the right lane was blocked by where a vehicle had apparently slid off the road and traffic was slow-going in the area.
Police reported similar issues in the same area on Wednesday morning.
