Two people were seriously injured in a traffic accident that slowed the outbound commute on Interstate 70 Thursday morning, police said.
All eastbound lanes of the interstate were briefly closed after the wreck, which happened about 7:15 a.m. at 18th Street. Only one lane was getting by for about 45 minutes, and by a little after 8 a.m., all lanes had been reopened.
The accident involved a car and a tractor trailer. The cause was not immediately clear.
