Multi-car crash slows rush-hour drive on Interstate 49 in Kansas City

GRANDVIEW, Mo. - As many as five vehicles were involved in a rush-hour crash on Interstate 49/US-71 Highway in Kansas City Thursday morning.
Police report the crash happened at about 7:37 a.m. in the northbound lanes just north of Blue Ridge Boulevard and a little south of the Three Trails Crossing.
Skytracker video from over the scene showed only one lane of traffic was getting by the scene, in the middle lane.
It wasn’t immediately clear what may have caused the crash or if anybody was injured.
