KANSAS CITY, Mo - Work begins Wednesday on the conversion of several downtown Kansas City, Mo., streets from one-ways into two-ways.
The city’s Public Works Department will begin making adjustments to traffic signals along Walnut Street on Wednesday.
Walnut will be converted to a two-way street between Truman Road and 20th Street by Sunday.
Other current one-way streets that will be changed to two-ways by mid-May include:
- Baltimore Avenue between Ninth Street and 12th Street
- 14th Street between Broadway Boulevard and Wyandotte Street
- Walnut Street between Fifth Street and 12th Street
