Summary: It is a challenging forecast today as a cold front approaches. The front could spark a few rain showers and even a few thunderstorms. The front will settle over southern Missouri tonight then move back toward KC as a warm front on Friday. The warm front will lift into Iowa on Saturday and that means a hot weekend with highs in the 90s. A weak cold front may bring scattered thunderstorms on Memorial day.
