KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Two people were transported to an area hospital after an apparent lightning strike in Kansas City early Friday, a Kansas City Fire Department spokesman said.
It happened a little before 7 a.m. at a construction site on the Route 169 bridge over 96th Street.
KCFD Public Information Officer Lew Hendricks said the victims were taken non-emergency for treatment.
