KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A young Missouri couple was forced to brave the bad road conditions early Tuesday so they could get to the hospital to have their third child.
Kelly Stamps, not due for another week, began going into labor at about 5:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Kelly and her husband Joe live in Liberty and immediately headed for St. Luke’s Hopsital in Kansas City.
The usual-20-minute drive took about 45 minutes, but Kelly says they just took it slow and remained calm.
Baby Jacob was born at 7:37 a.m. in good health.
