A photographer gets a little too close to the action during a road rally in Norway

Photographer Steffen Tronstad was hit by a runaway tire during the recent Norway Championship Rally. Tronstad said the camera on his shoulder blocked his peripheral vision, so he didn’t see that the tire that came off of the rally car was coming right at him. The vehicle was going about 40 miles per hour at the time. The photographer only suffered minor injuries, including a sore shoulder and a bruised stomach. The driver of the rally car was uninjured.
