A tourist group gets quite a scare on an African safari

A group of elephants in South Africa’s Kruger National Park traipsed out of the brush and onto a road in front of a vehicle filled with tourists, which included children. Suddenly, two of the elephants began to charge them. To stop the animals before they reached the car, the tourists yelled and pounded on the vehicle while the driver revved the engine. The loud noises proved effective, as both animals stopped just short of the group of people and walked back into the brush.
