Bryan Singer's accuser files to dismiss case

The man who filed a sex abuse lawsuit against director BRYAN SINGER is seeking a dismissal because he can't find a lawyer who will represent him.

Michael Egan III claimed the filmmaker molested him at a party in 1999, when he was 17.

His accusations led to Singer stepping down from promotional duties surrounding his summer (14) blockbuster X-Men: Days of Future Past, but now Egan wants the suit dismissed without prejudice so he can refile it at a later date.

The attorneys who were representing Egan asked to be removed from the case last month (Jul14), citing that their relationship with him had deteriorated.

Egan still wants Singer to pay the costs and fees related to the lawsuit.

Egan has previously dropped three similar lawsuits against three producers.

Singer filed a motion for dismissal earlier this summer (14).
